During June 18th – 25th 2010 Novomet engineers conducted 4 presentations-demonstrations devoted to “Testing of high efficiency ESP vs. conventional design”, held at Design Bureau “Konnas” in Moscow. These presentations were witnessed by technical specialists from the largest Russian oil companies (“Rosneft”, “Zarubezhneft”, “RussNeft”, “Lukoil”, “Gazpromneft-Khantos”, etc.)
On April 12th, 2010, for the first time in practice ESP of 319 series was installed into a side-track well (#30 220, cluster 781, Samotlorskoye field, Open JSC “Samotlorneftegaz”). Production casing ID is 6.6 inch. Installation of 319 series ESP system into the side-track was performed under the supervision of Irik Khabipov, Samotlorneftegaz Senior Engineer, and Igor Gutuev, Production Department Director.
13th International Exhibition “NEFTEGAZ 2010” took place in Moscow (“Expocentre” in Krasnaya Presnya) on June 21st – 25th 2010. As part of this event the 8th Russian Oil and Gas Industry Congress was held on June 22nd – 24th. Being the official sponsor of both exhibition and congress, NOVOMET presented company’s latest technical and technological innovations in the field of oil production. Among those were high efficiency ESP systems, slim pumps, equipment for rigless ESP operation, Y-tool system, universal VSD for asynchronous and permanent magnet motors and etc.
