Downhole sensor system
Downhole sensor system provides information about key ESP performance parameters:
- Fluid pressure and temperature at ESP intake
- Motor oil temperature
- Motor vibration
- Discharge pressure and temperature
- Pump vibration
- Insulation resistance
Next version of Novomet Downhole sensor system will provide all of the above parameters above:
- Fluid flow at pump discharge
- Producing watercut
Downhole sensor is compatible with any motor of the following series: 319, 378, 406, 456, 512, 562, 728. Downhole data is transferred to Surface panel via ESP power cable.
Surface panel controller processes and transfers data from surface and downhole sensors to switchboard controller. In case any deviation of parameters outside preset limits is determined the system provides programmed ESP starts and stops to ensure its reliable operation and protection.
Surface panel is compatible with switchboards of any manufacturers and downhole sensor system – with any motor type: asynchronous and permanent magnet.
